Semper Fi! During the bloody Battle for Iwo Jima, U.S. Marines from the 3rd Platoon, E Company, 2nd Battalion, 28th Regiment of the 5th Division took the crest of Mount Suribachi, the island’s highest peak and most strategic position, and raised the U.S. flag on 23 February 1945. The image was later used by Felix de Weldon to sculpt the Marine Corps War Memorial, which was dedicated in 1954 to all Marines who died for their country. Our bolt action and twist pens pay tribute to the USMC and their continuing sacrifice. The body of the pen contains pieces of volcanic ash carefully embedded in the resin during the handcrafted process. This ash was personally gathered from the beaches of Iwo Jima by Lt. Col.Raul (Art) Sifuentes USMC (Ret.) and his staff from the Iwo Jima Association of America (IJAA), whose sole purpose is to perpetuate the spirit and legacy of that battle. The pen comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) attesting to its origin. Limited Edition of 5 bolt action and 2 Napoli twist pens.

On June 6, 1944, the Western Allies landed in Normandy. The grains of sand in the white oval were collected from the beaches of Normandy. Above the white oval is a photo of the landing on D-Day. Beneath the oval is a map showing the battle plans for the invasion of Normandy.

DESERT STORM: Desert Storm Commemorative Gunmetal Bolt Action Pen:

The grains of sand in the white oval were collected from Camp Airfjan US Military Installation 28*53’15.43N 48*10’32.73E. Above the white oval is a photo of combat planes. Beneath the oval is the Desert Storm Service Ribbon below which is a photo of an aircraft carrier with planes on deck.

KOREAN WAR: Korean War Commemorative Gunmetal Bolt Action Pen

The grains of sand in the white oval were collected from10*56’55.14N 108*17’36.72E. Above the white oval is a photo of a Huey. Beneath the oval is the Vietnam Service Ribbon below which is a photo-montage of the Vietnam Veteran’s Three Soldiers Statue and The Wall.
