Handcrafted in Utah, the Duck Whisperer Magnum duck call uses a double reed call made of impact resistant polycarbonate molded in the USA.  The goose calls use a single reed to get maximum range. The reeds have a powerful, realistic sound, are easy to blow and the reeds will not stick even when wet.

The body of the call is hand-turned from either a specialized polyester resin designed specifically for duck and goose calls, or from various hardwoods that have been immersed in a professional grade stabilizing acrylic resin under vacuum for 24 hours, making it impervious to moisture and increasing the hardness of the wood even further.

The photograph below shows two pieces of wood cut to size for turning into a magnum duck call from the same board.  The photo on the left shows the wood as is.  The photo on the right shows the piece of wood after being stabilized in our professional grade polymer stabilizing resin for 24 hours.  The weights of each piece are shown below the photos.  As you can see, the weight of the wood increased from 1.7 ounces to 4.4 ounces.
